Super theme to cover--yet there are even more reasons to know another language and in this day and time it is so easy that there's really no excuse not to do so. I continue to enjoy Rosetta Stone's interactive French program. Love that you highlighted this topic with a hub. Voted up.
We enjoyed visiting Montreal very much! Our daughter was a young French student and had so looked forward to our family trip because she wanted to use her new language with people throughout Quebec. At the first restaurant we went to it was very funny to find that while she wanted to speak French with our very nice waiter, he wanted to practice his English with us. It is a fun memory still. :)
